“I am thrilled with the opportunity to join Valley Health and care for those in my hometown. I grew up in the Wayne / Kenova area and love this community so much. I have a passion for pediatrics and acute care nursing for those of all ages.   In healthcare, we are given the chance to make a difference in an individual’s life each day and that is a great opportunity. I hope I never forget to go to work every day, realizing the great impact I can make as a healthcare provider. This is why being a nurse practitioner is the field for me, “says Alexandra Collins, APRN, FNP-BC.

Collins lives in Prichard, WV, with her family.   She enjoys spending time with family, attending her children’s sporting events, and hiking in her spare time.
