Huntington, West Virginia. <June 15, 2023,> Valley Health Systems, Inc. is excited to announce the addition of nurse practitioner Alexandra “Alex” Collins, FNP, to the Valley Health family.
Collins will see pediatric and adult patients at Valley Health Wayne beginning June 12, 2023.
Collins has seven years of nursing experience. She has practiced in many different settings, including emergency rooms, urgent care, pediatrics, and intensive care, and also served as an adjunct instructor for Marshall University’s School of Nursing. Collins graduated from Marshall University’s nursing program Magna Cum Laude and earned her Master’s as a family nurse practitioner Summa Cum Laude from Marshall University. She is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, PNCB – certified pediatric nurse, and with the American Nephrology Nurses Association.

I have a passion for pediatrics and acute care nursing for those of all ages. Collins lives in Prichard, WV, with her family. She enjoys spending time with family, attending her children’s sporting events, and hiking in her spare time.
