[September 12, 2024 – Charleston, WV] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Physician Assistant JaQualla Smith to the Valley Health family. Smith will see patients at Valley Health – KidCare located at 4407 MacCorkle Avenue SE in Charleston, WV.
Smith is a proud graduate of Marshall University, where she obtained her bachelor’s and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Her commitment to patient care was evident during her externship at Southern West Virginia Health System (formerly Lincoln Primary Care) in Hamlin, WV. Originally from Huntington, WV, JaQualla Smith deeply understands the local community’s healthcare needs.

She has a special interest in pediatric care and is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive medical services for children. In her spare time, Smith enjoys knitting, crocheting, playing music, and hiking the natural beauty of the West Virginia countryside.
