[November 18, 2024 – Huntington, WV] – Valley Health is pleased to add Registered Dental Hygienist Jennifer Merritt to the dental team at Valley Health – Upper Kanawha. With more than 12 years of experience in the region, Jennifer is committed to providing exceptional dental care for patients of all ages.
Jennifer graduated from Bridgemont Community and Technical College and brings compassion, knowledge, and expertise to her new role. She holds certifications in Local Anesthesia, Bleaching, and Public Health, allowing her to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
“I wanted to make a positive impact and contribute to the well-being of those around me,” Jennifer shared. “I knew I could do that with a career at Valley Health. I hope to cultivate meaningful connections with patients by actively listening, understanding concerns, and delivering gentle, expert care.”

She volunteers as a foster for kittens at the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, believing every animal deserves a home. When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys traveling, trying new local restaurants, watching movies and TV series, reading books, and camping.
