Valley Health Celebrates Dr. Rafael Molina’s Outstanding Preceptor Award for Second Time

[Huntington, West Virginia] December 5, 2023 – Valley Health is pleased to announce that  The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) has awarded Dr. Rafael Molina the Outstanding Preceptor Award for a second time. Dr. Molina is a practicing OBGYN for Valley Health Systems and has worked with the company for 17 years. He works at Valley Health, A Woman’s Place, Coal Grove, and Pea Ridge Women’s Health.

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) presents the award to physicians who demonstrate professionalism, service to students, and a positive role model for patient care. Dr. Molina is a role model that many would wish to emulate. He is committed to teaching, mentoring, and supporting the education process. His dedication to the Osteopathic Tenets of the Hippocratic Oath and his commitment to patient care make him a positive role model for all.

The Outstanding Preceptor Award is given to one primary care physician and one non-primary care specialist from each statewide campus region each year. All nominees must practice within their statewide campus region.
