[December 6, 2024 – Huntington, WV] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel Turley, PharmD, BCPS as the new Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services. In this role, Joel will lead efforts to enhance the quality of pharmaceutical care and improve patient outcomes across the organization.
Joel earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Marshall University, where he also distinguished himself as a member of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society. He is certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), showcasing his commitment to excellence in the pharmacy profession. Since joining Valley Health in 2019, Joel has demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise in clinical pharmacy. His extensive knowledge and experience will be invaluable as he takes on this leadership role, guiding a team of pharmacists and working closely with healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and patient safety.
