Valley Health Offers Most Extensive Uro-Gyn Services in the Region Offering the Best Quality Care at Home

[Huntington, WV] May 16, 2023 —    From robotic surgery that minimizes patient downtime to outpatient procedures, Valley Health is pleased to offer the most extensive urogynecology services in the region.   With the additions of Dr. Steven Brumfield and Dr. Caleb Huff, Valley Health’s OB/GYN team grows to 12 providers, and women can improve their quality of life and receive the services they need without traveling out of the region.

Dr. Brumfield and Dr. Huff are the only gynecologic surgeons recognized by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology as specialists in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery in the region.   Born and raised in Huntington, Dr.  Brumfield and Dr. Huff are passionate about caring for their neighbors and friends.

“We are happy to have offered these urogynecologic services to women in the tri-state region for more than 15 years,” says Dr. Steven Brumfield.   “As Huntington natives, we are committed to providing this care locally so that women do not have to travel outside the region for these procedures.  These conditions lead to a significant decrease in women’s quality of life, and we are committed to helping alleviate these problems.”

Valley Health’s team offers a comprehensive and extensive menu of services in one healthcare network that is unique in our region and very difficult to find outside of Valley Health.    Valley Health providers can evaluate and treat prolapse, severe prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, and a multitude of other urinary issues.

Dr. Brumfield and Dr. Huff, along with their colleague Dr. Amber Kuhl,  joined the Valley Team in 2022.   They are all credentialed by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.
