Huntington, West Virginia [February 8, 2024] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. is thrilled to announce the success of our Give Kids a Smile event in Milton, WV today, February 8, 2024. This was our third year participating in the event. We provided free dental services to children 14 years old and younger.
Valley Health practitioners served 27 patients through the event in Milton. Of those patients examined, 8 patients were uninsured. The youngest patient seen was 2 years old. Valley Health dentists and staff also saw six sets siblings! Six patients visited the dentist for the first time today through this event.
Dr. Megan Popp Coburn, DDS, was thrilled with the turnout at the event. “It was a great day for our staff involved, and we are looking forward to seeing what growth each year brings.”
