Valley Health welcomes Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner Mercedes Weikle

[Huntington, West VirginiaNovember 11, 2024] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. welcomes Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner Mercedes Weikle to the Valley Health family.    Weikle will serve patients at Valley Health – Fort Gay and Valley Health – Milton.

Weikle has a decade of nursing experience.   She attended Bluefield State College and Mountain State University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.   Weikle earned her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner from Marshall University, and received her post graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Liberty University.

Weikle has worked in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and school-based locations.   She has a passion for psychiatry and addiction medicine.
