[September 19, 2024 Huntington, W.Va.] – Valley Health is proud to announce the addition of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Kim DeMattie to our team. DeMattie will be seeing patients at Valley Health – Coal Grove located at 205 Marion Pike, Coal Grove, Ohio.
DeMattie holds a Masters of Nursing from Northern Kentucky University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in Athens, a Master of Counseling from Marshall University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Marshall University. With a decades-long career in mental health, and more than four years of experience as a PMHNP specifically, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.
Growing up in the area, DeMattie understands the significant need for mental health services in the region. She is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients and looks forward to serving the community at Valley Health – Coal Grove.

DeMattie is a resident of Lawrence County, Ohio. She enjoys hanging out with her family, cuddles from her little dogs, and crocheting in her spare time.
