Tre Hart Completes Doctoral Internship and transitions to Postdoctoral Psychologist role at Valley Health

[July 15, 2025 – Huntington, WV]   – Valley Health congratulates Tre Hart on the successful completion his doctoral internship at Valley Health and welcomes him  to the role of postdoctoral psychologist.  Hart will be delivering comprehensive psychological services at Valley Health Huntington and Huntington High School. This opportunity will enable him to work closely with both individuals and families, providing the support and guidance necessary for improving mental health outcomes.

Tre is a graduate of Fairmont State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned his M.A. in Psychology from Marshall University. Over the past year, he has been working as a Psychology Intern at Valley Health, where he honed his skills in various therapeutic techniques and developed a deep understanding of the diverse behavioral health needs within the community. His training has equipped him with valuable experiences that prepare him for this next chapter in his professional journey.

 “Valley Health has offered me an invaluable opportunity to learn from and work with our patients,” said Tre Hart. “I am thrilled to give back and help expand Valley Health’s behavioral health services, especially during one of the most pivotal and challenging events of one’s life: High School.”

In addition to his professional pursuits, Tre enjoys playing video games with friends, visiting family back home in Clarksburg, WV, and indulging in the local cuisine of Huntington (he is a big fan of the pepperoni rolls at the Peddler).

Tre looks forward to collaborating with fellow health professionals and contributing to the ongoing efforts to provide accessible and effective mental health care. “I am passionate about helping individuals lead fulfilling lives, and I am eager to bring my skills and knowledge to the community I love.”
