Valley Health Systems Inc Expands Services to Cardiology with New Heart & Vascular Center

Valley Health Systems, Inc. is thrilled to announce the expansion of its services to include cardiology with the opening of the new Heart & Vascular Center at the Valley Health – Pea Ridge Medical Complex, located at 4270 US Route 60 East, Huntington, WV. The Center will officially open its doors on September 2, 2025, providing the community with comprehensive heart and vascular care, along with advanced imaging services—all conveniently located right in your neighborhood.

Our new Center will be staffed by a team of esteemed professionals, including three highly respected cardiologists and three experienced nurse practitioners, who bring profound understanding, extensive knowledge, and vast experience —

The Heart and Vascular Center is dedicated to offering accessible, expert care regardless of whether patients are current Valley Health patients or new to our services. Advanced Cardiac Testing & Imaging

EKGs

Stress tests (exercise or medicine-induced) Echocardiograms

Vascular Testing:

Carotid ultrasound (to check stroke risk)

Venous ultrasound (to check for blood clots)

Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) test (to check blood flow in your legs)

AAA screening (to check for abdominal aortic aneurysm)

Diagnostic Imaging:

 X-rays (chest, bones, joints)

General ultrasounds (abdomen, kidneys, liver, soft tissues)

Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds
