Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that Megan Wilson, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, will join the Pea Ridge Center for Senior Wellness beginning February 16 , 2026. Wilson brings a deeply experienced clinical background in oncology, survivorship care, palliative care, and senior wellness—making her an exceptional addition to Valley Health’s rapidly expanding geriatric service line.
Wilson has served patients across the region for more than 15 years, including roles in hematology/oncology, pediatric oncology infusion, palliative and supportive care, and survivorship services. Most recently, she served as a Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Coordinator at the Edwards Cancer Institute at Cabell Huntington Hospital where she supported patients through long-term post-treatment care and complex chronic disease management
“We are delighted to welcome Megan into a full-time role at our Pea Ridge Center for Senior Wellness,” said Dr. Cynthia Pinson, Section Chief of Senior Care at the Valley Health Center for Senior Wellness . “Her clinical expertise, compassion, and commitment to aging adults will strengthen our mission to provide high-quality, coordinated senior care in our community.”
Wilson’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Marshall University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Waynesburg University , and an Associate Degree in Nursing from St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She also holds several specialized certifications, including CPR, ACSM-ACS Cancer Exercise Specialist, Certified Pediatric Nurse, and Chemotherapy Administration credentials.
“I am honored to continue serving patients with Valley Health, particularly within the Pea Ridge Center for Senior Wellness,” Wilson said. “Supporting older adults as they navigate health changes, chronic conditions, and overall wellness is incredibly meaningful work, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for this community.”
Wilson loves making up songs in the car, dance parties in the kitchen, and movie nights with her partner, Rob, and three children. Together, they have three dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors playing fetch. Weekends often find her sipping coffee with excessive amounts of creamer on the porch and rafting down the New River where she is learning to row and fly fish.
