
Valley Health is pleased to announce that Kelly E. Miller, DO, is now seeing patients as a general pediatrician. Dr. Miller brings three years of hands-on experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions and is excited to continue her career in her hometown. Dr. Miller is currently seeing patients at Valley Health Kanawha City and Valley Health SCP – Charleston. She is joining a pediatric team that includes more than 30 providers dedicated to delivering high-quality care to children in the community.
Dr. Miller holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, and a Master of Health Sciences degree from West Virginia University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from High Point University in High Point, NC. Dr. Miller has a strong passion for preventative care and is particularly dedicated to fostering a supportive, welcoming atmosphere where children and their families can feel heard and comfortable. She has also presented at several national conferences, including on multifocal acute osteomyelitis in infants and the atypical presentation of Kawasaki disease. In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Miller has contributed to the field through research and quality improvement initiatives, such as her work on reducing vaccine errors and leading quality improvement projects to enhance patient safety protocols.

Dr. Miller lives Charleston with her fiancé and her cat Harrison, and plans to add a cat to the family this spring. She enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking and trying new foods in her off-work hours. To schedule with Dr. Miller head valleyhealth.org
