Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Caitlin Hazlett, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, who is joining the Valley Health family as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Valley Health Coal Grove.
Hazlett brings more than a decade of comprehensive clinical experience across outpatient primary care, inpatient medical settings, and academic nursing education. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to delivering high-quality, culturally competent, patient-centered care for individuals across the lifespan—from infants to older adults.
“We are thrilled to welcome Caitlin to our Coal Grove team,” said Dr. Scott Davis, Family and Internal Medicine Clinical Section Chief of Valley Health Systems. “Her strong clinical background, commitment to patient-centered care, and deep ties to our region make her an outstanding addition to Valley Health.”
Hazlett earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2010) and Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (2015) from Marshall University, where she also serves as Adjunct Faculty supporting nurse practitioner students during their clinical education.
She most recently practiced with Marshall Health in Huntington, W.Va., providing comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, conducting Medicare Wellness exams, delivering telehealth services, offering acute care in the college student health clinic, and walk-in clinic settings. Earlier in her career, Hazlett worked as a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Cabell Huntington Hospital, caring for critically ill infants, children, and young adults, and began her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

Caitlin lives in Grayson, Kentucky with her husband and children and enjoys weight lifting, gardening, and taking care of her animals in her off work hours.
