Valley Health Systems, Inc. is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Heather McKneely to the optometry team at Valley Health Milton at Harbour Way. With her educational background and dedication to patient care, Dr. McKneely is poised to enhance the eye care services offered to our community.
Dr. McKneely earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Marshall University, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kentucky College of Optometry. Her skills include conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular conditions, and educating patients on maintaining their ocular health. She brings valuable clinical experience in providing exceptional eye care services.
“I am thrilled to join the team at Valley Health Milton at Harbour Way,” said Dr. McKneely. “My goal is to contribute to a patient-driven practice that prioritizes exceptional eye care and patient education.”
Dr. McKneely is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the West Virginia Association of Optometric Physicians, the Kentucky Optometric Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Her affiliations demonstrate her commitment to staying current with best practices in the field of optometry.
Residing in Winfield, McKneely enjoys spending time with her husband MJ, going to family cookouts, and walking her dog, Kirby.
