[August 4, 2025 – HUNTINGTON, WV] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Laura Mayer, APRN, ANP-C, to the Valley Health Heart and Vascular Center. With 24 years of specialized experience in interventional cardiology, Mayer brings a wealth of expertise to the team and will play a pivotal role in expanding cardiology services at Valley Health.
Mayer graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the same institution. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Her extensive background in interventional cardiology, coupled with her advanced clinical skills, makes her an excellent fit for Valley Health’s ongoing efforts to improve heart and vascular care in the community.

Laura resides in Proctorville, Ohio, and enjoys reading and cooking in her off-work hours.
