
Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to welcome Dr. Hannah Casto, MD, CLC, to the Valley Health family of providers. Dr. Casto is now seeing patients at Valley Health East Huntington, located at 85 Donohoe Drive, Huntington, WV.
Dr. Casto, a West Virginia native, specializes in outpatient pediatrics and newborn care. She is board eligible in General Pediatrics and a Certified Lactation Counselor. She is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation.
Dr. Casto earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University as part of the school’s inaugural BS/MD program. She completed her residency training in General Pediatrics at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC, where she also served as Junior Chief Resident. During her residency, she was an active member of the Pediatric Resident Education Committee, Pediatric Resident Wellness Committee, and the ECU Health Sea of Safety Quality Improvement Task Force.
“Returning to my home state to join Valley Health and serve families in a community that has poured so much into me is truly an honor,” said Dr. Casto. “ I am passionate about caring for children and supporting their families during such a foundational time in their lives to help set them up for success both now and in the future.”
