Huntington, West Virginia [August 24, 2023] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce Dr. Erin Fankhanel is joining the Valley Health team on August 28, 2023. Dr. Fankhanel will see patients at Valley Health – Hurricane and Valley Health – Upper Kanawha in Cedar Grove.
Dr. Fankhanel is a primary care physician for adults with a professional interest in geriatrics and preventative care. She is a native of Hurricane, WV, and a Marshall University and Marshall University School of Medicine graduate. Dr. Fankhanel is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a member of the American College of Physicians, and has co-authored five medical publications.
Dr. Fankhanel says, “I welcome the opportunity to return home to the Kanawha Valley and to be a part of the trusted quality of care that Valley Health provides to the community. I am passionate about helping fellow West Virginians maintain their best health”.
Dr. Fankhanel enjoys stamp making and loves to bake, hike, and travel in her spare time.
