Huntington, WV – [March 20, 2024] – Valley Health is excited to introduce Allison A. Vance, LPC, as the newest Point Pleasant Pediatrics behavioral health provider. Allison’s wealth of experience and expertise in counseling, particularly in serving children and families, make her a valuable asset to the team.
Allison received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from West Virginia State College and her Master’s in School Counseling from Marshall University Graduate College. With more than three decades of experience in the field, she has dedicated her career to supporting children and families facing adversity.
Allison specializes in individual and group counseling through Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Care. Her commitment to providing personalized care to her patients is evident through her volunteer work at organizations like Recovery Point and Crossroads Recovery Centers, where she taught parenting classes to residents.

Allison enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and caring for her pets in her free time. She and her husband, Dan, share their home with three senior dogs and two cats.
