Valley Health Welcomes Nurse Practitioner Melissa Welch

[Huntington, West Virginia; January 17, 2024] – Valley Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Melissa Welch, MSN, APRN-BC to the Valley Health team.   Welch will be seeing patients the Valley Health KidCare – Kanawha City.  

Welch is from South Charleston.   She received her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Charleston and Masters ‘degrees in Nursing Administration and Family Nurse Practitioner from Marshall University.   Welch is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner at Marshall University.    She has a background in Pediatrics and Urgent Care.

Welch describes herself as a true crime junkie.   She lives with her husband, two sons and three pugs in South Charleston, WV.   She enjoys listening to podcasts, shopping, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
