Many West Virginians are without health care coverage, and even more are losing coverage due to the changing rules around Medicaid renewals. In order to help as many people as possible Valley Health is partnering as a WV Navigator with the West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) in this effort. Anyone needing health coverage can go to Valley Health Pea Ridge Business Center location to get onsite assistance in enrolling in the Marketplace, Medicaid, or the Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP).
Anybody needing health insurance can walk in to receive assistance from the Assistor or Navigator at that location. Depending on how busy each location is, the Assistor or Navigator will either book an appointment with them to help before the end of Open Enrollment on January 16 or, if they are able to, they can provide immediate enrollment assistance.
In addition, WV Navigator will have Navigators assisting by phone for anyone who cannot make it out to an in-person location.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. Copyright by ValleyHealth.org. Site by Falcon Design
